Fidamc has been present at the International Fair of Defense and Security (FEINDEF), held from May 12 to 14 in Madrid, the main event of the sector in Spain that brings together the most relevant actors in the technological, industrial and strategic field, both nationally and internationally. This edition has been especially significant for us, since we have not only had the opportunity to show the results of our most cutting-edge research lines, but also to strengthen strategic collaborations that will drive future developments.<\/p>\n
During the three days of the fair, we have presented two lightweight airborne demonstrators with dual civil and military applications<\/strong>.On the one hand, the gyroplane of ELA Aviaci\u00f3n, a platform for civilian use that reflects the potential of our capabilities in design and manufacture of advanced structures. On the other, a UAV for military use developed jointly with Fundaci\u00f3n CTA and Edair Technologies, which demonstrates our ability to adapt civilian technological solutions to the defense field.<\/p>\n Both projects reflect one of Fidamc's hallmarks: technological versatility as a driver for innovation in strategic sectors. Our experience in composite materials and advanced manufacturing positions us as a reference partner in the development of highly efficient and adaptable dual solutions.<\/p>\n In addition to the aeronautical sector, at FEINDEF we also showed an example of tooling for the shipbuilding industry<\/strong>,manufactured using advanced additive manufacturing technologies. Specifically, we exhibited a mold section developed by our partner CEAD Group B.V. using LFAM (Large Format Additive Manufacturing) technology, made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer. This piece aroused great interest among visitors, as it showed the transforming impact of these technologies in sectors such as the naval sector, which demand light, resistant and sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n Agreement with ELA Aviaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n One of the highlights of our participation in this edition was the signing of an agreement with ELA Aviation for the development of the company's next model of gyroplane. This agreement includes from advanced design to manufacturing with state-of-the-art composite materials, as well as structural and functional tests to ensure maximum safety and performance. This is a further step in the close collaboration between both entities, and a clear example of the value we contribute as a center for applied innovation.<\/p>\n FEINDEF 2025 has been, without a doubt, an exceptional fair for Fidamc.
