The territorial delegation of Economy, Finance and European Funds of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda in Cadiz hosted the opening ceremony of the explanatory sessions of the regulatory bases for the development of innovation projects in the Center for Innovation in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (CFA).<\/p>\n
The Deputy Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds, Amelia Martinez, and the territorial delegate Inmaculada Olivero, have participated in the opening of an event to which more than 200 companies and entities have registered and have shown their interest in accessing the services of this center, available soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
These rules set out the criteria for the presentation and evaluation of projects to be carried out at the Center In order to access the use of the CFA's services, interested entities must submit an innovation project proposal that will be evaluated in compliance with the principles of publicity, competition, transparency, non-discrimination and equal treatment among all candidates. The services to be provided will have publicly accessible rates. <\/span>The presentation of the projects will be made via email to the address cfa@fidamc.es or directly through the website cfacadiz.es.<\/p>\n The CFA is an industrial environment being developed in Puerto Real, with an investment of 18.31 million, financed by FEDER. The center has the necessary equipment and resources to become a national reference center that will enable companies, on their own and with the appropriate technical support services, to develop technologies that are applicable and easily transferable to their production processes. <\/span><\/p>\n During the conference, which was also attended by the general director of <\/span>the Foundation for Research, Development and Application of Composite Materials (FIDAMC), Ernesto Gonz\u00e1lez, the managing entity of the center, the Technological Capabilities of the CFA were presented, as well as details of the rules governing access to the center, the deadlines and requirements for participating in the call for projects, a speech given by Isaac P\u00e9rez-Fafian, general director of the CFA. In addition, the CFA's Operations Manager, Javier Romalde, presented the center's equipment.<\/p>\n The companies interested in presenting projects to access the center come from industrial and highly technological sectors such as aerospace, naval, railway, plastics and bio-health, although companies from other sectors such as the leather cluster of Ubrique have also been interested.<\/p>\n The center has been designed with a strategic model based on technological areas<\/span> and provides resources that allow the regional ecosystem to be more competitive and increase levels of implementation of new technologies.
