2025 has been a very dynamic year for Fidamc, marked by key milestones both in Spain and on the international stage, the strengthening of strategic alliances, the consolidation of new technological spaces and the organisation of a landmark event in the aerospace sector. Below, we review the most significant moments that have defined this exceptional year.

One of the most important milestones of the year was the inauguration of the Advanced Manufacturing Centre (CFA) in Puerto Real (Cádiz) on 22 September 2025. This centre, whose management was awarded to Fidamc, promoted together with the Regional Government of Andalusia and with an investment of more than €18 million, is set to become a driving force for technological and industrial innovation in southern Spain.

With 1,700 m² of state-of-the-art facilities, the CFA has been designed to foster collaboration between universities, technology centres and companies, and is structured around key areas such as additive manufacturing, metrology and digitalisation, robotics and drones.

On 30 October 2025, Fidamc organised the Aerospace Thermoplastics International Summit, a unique summit that brought together leaders from the aerospace industry, public institutions, research centres and European universities to discuss the challenges and opportunities of thermoplastic materials and the sector's technological strategy.

During the event, key topics were explored, such as: the industrialisation of thermoplastic materials for aeronautics and advanced mobility, and aerospace strategy and funding opportunities.

Participation in international trade fairs and meetings

Throughout 2025, Fidamc has been present at several key industry events, such as JEC World 2025, held in March, which is the world's leading trade fair for composite materials. There, it signed six strategic alliances with Hexcel Corporation, Harbin Hafei Airbus Composite Manufacturing Centre Co. Ltd, Airbus MATI (Manufacturing Technology Incubator), Biesterfeld Group, Composite Technology Centre / CTC GmbH – An Airbus Company and CEAD Group.

Another important trade fair in which Fidamc participated was Transfiere 2025, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, where it formalised its membership of the Andalucía Aerospace cluster, which is key to boosting the regional technological ecosystem.

At the renowned Paris Air Show, Fidamc not only reinforced its international profile, but also officially presented the CFA in Cadiz to the global aerospace sector, arousing great interest in this new technology centre.

First stone laid for new technology facility in Getafe

Another key step in Fidamc's physical and technological expansion was the laying of the foundation stone for its new technology facility in Getafe, an event held on 30 June 2025.

This facility, covering more than 500 m², will strengthen testing, manufacturing and advanced project capabilities in close collaboration with ENSIA EXPERT (TESTIA), an Airbus Group company, supporting the technological sovereignty of the Spanish aerospace industry and the creation of specialised employment.

In conclusion, 2025 has proven to be a year of solid growth, technological innovation and strategic positioning for Fidamc. From the inauguration of key infrastructure such as the CFA in Cadiz, to the organisation of high-impact sector meetings such as the Aerospace Thermoplastics International Summit, through to the expansion of technological capabilities in Getafe and participation in leading trade fairs, the commitment to excellence, cooperation and sustainability has been a constant. Now, we begin 2026 with the same enthusiasm to continue improving.
