Once again, FIDAMC had the pleasure of participating in European Researchers' Night 2025, a major public event that brings science and innovation to the streets. On 26 and 27 September, between 9:00 a.m. and midnight, free, festive and fun activities took place in which researchers and citizens shared experiences and knowledge.
This project is part of a European initiative that is celebrated in more than 350 cities across the continent. In Madrid, it is promoted by the Regional Ministry of Education, Science and Universities, coordinated by the madri+d Foundation and funded by the European Union as part of the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
Carbon fibre key rings
In this edition, held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes, our activity consisted of making carbon fibre key rings, a proposal that was very well received. Children, young people and adults enthusiastically came to discover first-hand how to work with composite materials and many took home a technological souvenir they had made themselves.
The experience exceeded our expectations: the curiosity, creativity and participation of those attending reminded us of the importance of opening the doors to research and awakening scientific vocations from an early age.
At Fidamc, we remain committed to scientific dissemination and to sharing the knowledge we generate in the field of advanced materials with society.
We would like to thank everyone who made this possible, and especially those who visited us and participated in this event with such enthusiasm.
