Training
The FIDAMC Advanced Materials Training Centre has more than 500 m2 of space dedicated to training, including 2 classrooms, an apprenticeship workshop and a re-qualification workshop.
In this way, FIDAMC meets the needs of the industry and provides a specialised training service in advanced technologies, contributing to the improvement of the competitiveness of Spanish companies. The Training Centre is open to all sectors, the following being the most representative:
- Transport (automotive, railway, naval...).
- Energy (wind power...).
- Civil engineering, architecture or construction.
- Other sectors
FIDAMC offers courses adapted to the specific needs of the company, adapting the duration and content. The branches of knowledge that comprise our training dossier are:
- Composite materials.
- Assembly of aeronautical structures.
- Product and equipment design.
- Calculation of structures.
- Verification and testing.
- Machine and CNC programming.
- Aeronautical wiring.
- Product engineering.
- Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM).
The Training Centre is aimed not only at meeting the demand of companies, but is also accredited by the Community of Madrid as a Vocational Training Centre for Employment, with census number 28110, which allows us to provide training for the unemployed in the following specialities:
With certificate of professionalism:
- FMEA0111 - Assembly of structures and installation of aircraft systems and equipment.
- FMEA0211 - Manufacture of aerospace elements with composite materials.
- ADGD01 - Quality techniques and continuous improvement in business excellence.
Without certificate of professionalism:
- FMEA011EXP - Assembly of Aeronautical Structures.
- FMEA010EXP - Computer-aided aeronautical design.

Master in Composite Materials
Every year a new edition of the Master in Composite Materials is opened at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid-Airbus.
Master in Composite Materials
The Master's Degree in Composite Materials (MMtC) is endorsed by 13 graduating classes, more than 300 students who have completed the program and a 100% job placement rate.
The MMtC, which arose from the need expressed by leading companies in the aeronautical sector, consists of 90 ECTS, is classroom-based and aims to condense the professional's training time and provide a global and detailed vision of the process of design, analysis, manufacture and certification of structures in composite materials.
It is aimed at graduates and graduates in mechanical engineering (aerospace, materials, industrial, etc.), as well as graduates in physics or chemistry who want to work in this sector. In both cases no previous experience is required.
