FIDAMC
FIDAMC is a centre for technology and product development, as well as the manufacture and assembly of prototypes, pre-series products and aerospace spare parts. It also offers laboratory services, training and consultancy in composite materials.

We are known for our agility and flexibility and, since our foundation in 2006, have been leaders in the research, development and application of composite materials, additive manufacturing and robotics.
FIDAMC boasts expert talent in composite materials, additive manufacturing and robotics, state-of-the-art equipment and the capacity to carry out large-scale demonstrations. It also stands out for its ecosystem of partners who are leaders in their respective sectors.
We have a diverse board of trustees comprising the leading corporations in the mobility industry in Spain and globally.
Our history
FIDAMC was founded in 2006 with the aim of leading the way in composite materials technology, primarily for the aerospace sector.
However, FIDAMC has expanded its original remit to add value to other industries, such as shipbuilding, construction and biotechnology. It has also evolved in its use of other technologies, becoming a leader not only in composite materials but also in additive manufacturing and robotics.
This Research Centre, located in the Parque Tecnológico del Sur in the municipality of Getafe, in Illescas and in Cádiz (CFA), is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and covers an area of approximately 20,000 square metres.
Órganos de gobierno
The Board of Trustees is the governing, representative and administrative body of the Centre, which shall perform the functions corresponding to it, subject to the provisions of current legislation and its Statutes.
At present, representatives of the following organisations are members of the Board of Trustees: Airbus, MTorres, Sonaca España, Hexcel, Talgo, Acciona, Navantia, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, CDTI and Comunidad de Madrid.
The General Director of the Centre is responsible for the development of the executive and administrative functions of the FIDAMC, being appointed by the Board of Trustees.
