Fidamc has participated in Aerospace & Defense Meetings Sevilla 2026 (ADM Seville), one of the leading international events in the aerospace and defence sector, focused on fostering industrial collaboration, innovation and business opportunities among companies, OEMs and technology organisations.

This year’s event brought together leading companies and organisations from across the aerospace value chain, consolidating Seville and Andalusia as one of the sector’s most important industrial hubs in Europe.

Participation in the round-table discussion on industrial investment in Spain

As part of the official conference programme, Isaac Pérez, Director of Advanced Manufacturing and Business Development at Fidamc, took part in the round-table discussion “Industrial investment in Spain: success stories”, alongside representatives from international companies and organisations involved in industrial and technological development.

During the session, some of the major challenges and opportunities facing the sector were discussed, such as the growth of industrial capacity, the resilience of the supply chain, attracting investment, and the role of technological innovation in strengthening the competitiveness of the Spanish aerospace industry.

Fidamc’s participation highlighted the centre’s capabilities in areas such as composite materials, automation, advanced manufacturing and technology transfer to industrial settings.

Strategic meetings and opportunities for collaboration

In addition to participating in the conference programme, the Fidamc team held various meetings and discussions with companies and organisations from the aerospace and technology sector.

During the fair, the Fidamc team welcomed visits to their stand from companies such as Airbus, Aciturri and AIMEN, amongst other firms linked to the aerospace and industrial sectors.

One of the highlights was the conversation with Ricardo Rojas Camuñez, President of Commercial Aircraft at Airbus Spain, who shared news of particular relevance to the Andalusian industrial sector: the future opening in Seville of an A330 MRTT conversion centre to meet the increased demand for this strategic programme.

The event also provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with regular partners and companies with which Fidamc shares projects and synergies within the sector, Inmapa, Burdinberri and Mecanizados Vitoria

The team also held meetings with companies based in Andalusia, such as Sofitec, Sevilla Control and Pilatus Aircraft, with whom potential avenues for collaboration were identified for future projects related to advanced manufacturing, industrialisation and composite materials.

The Fidamc team would also like to thank Andalucía Aerospace for the invitation to the networking cocktail reception organised during the event, a gathering that once again highlighted the strength and cohesion of the Andalusian aerospace ecosystem.

Participation in ADM Sevilla enabled Fidamc to strengthen its relationships with international companies, identify new opportunities for technological collaboration, and continue to drive the development of advanced solutions for the Aeroespace and defence sectors.

Fidamc will also be attending OTWorld Leipzig 2026

Alongside ADM Sevilla, Fidamc also attended OTWorld 2026, the international trade fair held in Leipzig and specialising in rehabilitation, technical orthopaedics and prosthetics.

The visit provided a first-hand insight into the current needs of prosthetics manufacturers and allowed for an analysis of how Fidamc can contribute to the development of specific solutions through the use of composite materials and advanced carbon fibre-based technologies.

During the event, numerous opportunities linked to the CFAparticularly thanks to the available additive manufacturing capabilities, which align with the demands for customisation, lightness and performance required in this sector.

Furthermore, the Fidamc team held discussions with professionals from HP, addressing the competitive advantages offered by additive manufacturing equipment such as the HP Multi Jet Fusion 5200 available at the CFA, as well as its potential application in new developments aimed at the medical and prosthetics sectors.
