Fidamc has received the official renewal of our Nadcap accreditation for Non-Metallic Materials Testing. This achievement, obtained after the recent rigorous audit, includes the prestigious “24-month merit” rating, a recognition that highlights the excellence and consistency of our quality processes.
What is Nadcap and why is it so important?
Nadcap accreditation (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is a globally recognized certification system in the aerospace and defense industry. Administered by the Performance Review Institute (PRI), this accreditation is designed to ensure that special processes, such as testing, heat treatment or welding, meet the highest quality standards.
In particular, testing of non-metallic materials plays a crucial role in the aerospace industry, as it allows the performance and safety of composite materials used in aircraft structures and other critical components to be evaluated. Nadcap accreditation ensures that these tests are performed under strict technical controls, providing confidence to manufacturers and end customers.
Expanded scope of accreditation
This time, we have also expanded the scope of our accreditation to include uncured prepreg testing. These new accredited test methods are:
- Volatile Content
- Fiber Areal Weight
- Prepreg Areal/Adhesive Film Weight

This status reduces the frequency of audits from an annual to a 24-month cycle, which represents recognition of our organization's commitment to continuous improvement and quality management.

Thanks to this renewal, Fidamc will continue to be listed on the prestigious Nadcap Qualified Manufacturers List (QML), a global database that allows the procurement teams of leading aerospace and defense companies to identify reputable suppliers.
