Analysis and simulation of processes

FIDAMC has a highly experienced team in structural design and optimization. His capacities include structural analysis, design optimization (CATIA), finite element model analysis (ABAQUS and NASTRAN) and fracture mechanics studies, a field in which various doctoral theses are being developed and participating in funded projects by the European Union.

From the point of view of manufacturing processes FIDAMC is able to simulate: fill times, distribution and resin flow in infusion and injection processes, prediction of fiber distortion in forming processes (in press and with membrane), capacities of forming of complex parts, determination of spring-back during the curing process or estimation of residual stresses during the manufacturing process. We also have the ability to define and perform characterization tests of the material to feed the simulation processes.
