Last week, the Fidamc team was in Barcelona to take part in Advanced Factories 2025, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to industrial automation, robotics and Industry 4.0. Held at Fira Barcelona Gran Vía, the event once again brought together thousands of professionals, technology companies and industry leaders with a common goal: to drive the transformation of industry through innovation and digitalisation.

In recent years, Advanced Factories has established itself as a key event for the national and international industrial ecosystem. This year’s edition brought together more than 38,000 professionals, over 600 exhibiting companies and hundreds of experts specialising in automation, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, robotics, industrial connectivity and sustainability applied to production.

For Fidamc, participating in this event means much more than simply attending a technology fair. It is an opportunity to continue strengthening our presence within the national technology landscape and to share our vision with companies and organisations that are leading the shift towards a more efficient, digital and sustainable industry.

During the event, we were able to exchange experiences and create new opportunities for networking and collaboration with companies, technology centres and professionals from various industrial sectors. Such gatherings enable the forging of strategic connections that drive joint projects, foster knowledge transfer and accelerate the adoption of new technologies within the industrial value chain.

Furthermore, Advanced Factories provided the perfect setting to showcase the capabilities of FIDAMC and CFA, demonstrating our commitment to innovation applied to advanced manufacturing and composite materials. In a context where industry demands increasingly agile, sustainable and technologically advanced solutions, we continue to work towards positioning ourselves at the forefront of business and technology.

This year’s event was particularly marked by key trends such as smart automation, artificial intelligence applied to production, process digitalisation and ‘greentech’ technologies aimed at industrial decarbonisation. These strategic priorities are fully aligned with FIDAMC’s vision for the future of industry: a more connected, efficient and sustainable model, where technological innovation acts as a driver of competitiveness.

We would like to thank all the individuals, companies and partners we had the pleasure of meeting over the past few days in Barcelona. We are continuing to move forward, forging partnerships and developing capabilities so that we can build the industry of the future together.
